I have never seen abortion described in drawings or paintings... Might I have done this without thinking about it?
In abortion the woman is killed in a way... even statues and sculptures are killed by smashing their faces... this leads to bleeding... many lose their faces... Is this something the woman should blame herself about?
A lot of blood and lifeblood... however, in these pictures there is only red nail varnish...
Do you know somebody who has drawn in half an hour by accident her own life-story and the abortion... two women... tree women... one hiding... and a man - or men - who seem headless or probably no men at all...
These drawings are of size about A and made on water-color paper with black drawing ink in 1993.
